What we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

- Information we receive from other sources. This is information we receive about you if you use any of the other websites we operate or the other services we provide. We work with third parties including business partners and sub-contractors in technical and delivery services, analytics providers and search information providers. We will notify you when we receive information about you from them and the purposes for which we intend to use that information.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our website. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our website and also allows us to improve our site. Section 6 names the analytics service we use, exactly what it records, where it processes that data, and how to opt out.
2. Why we need it
We need your personal data in order to provide you with our services. Information you give to us, we will use to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us; to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us; to provide you with information about other services we offer that are similar to those you have already purchased or inquired about; to notify you about changes to our service; and to ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you.

3. What we do with it
Your personal data is processed in a destination outside of the European Economic Area, located in the United States. Hosting and storage of your data takes place in a destination outside of the European Economic Area, located in the United States. No third party providers have access to your data unless specifically required by law.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your documents for ten years according to the Data Retention Policy. After this period, your personal data will be irreversibly destroyed. Any personal data held by us for marketing and service update notifications will be kept by us until such time that you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

In the event that you wish to complain about how we have handled your personal data, please contact our Data Protection and IT Compliance Officer at info@ariesnet.com. Our Data Protection and IT Compliance Officer will then look into your complaint and work with you to resolve the matter.
6. Analytics
We use PostHog, a product analytics service, to understand how this site is used: which pages are read, which engagements draw interest, and whether the contact path is working. PostHog processes this data on infrastructure located in the European Union. This is an exception to section 3, which describes where the personal data you give us directly is held; analytics data does not leave the European Union.
What we record is a short, deliberately fixed list. Page views, and these named actions: viewing pricing, viewing an engagement, reading a resource, following a link away from this site, clicking a call to action, starting the contact form, submitting it, whether that submission reached our intake service or failed to, and opening your mail application from it. Nothing is recorded that is not on that list.
What we do not record
- Automatic event capture is switched off. Analytics cannot record a click, keystroke or page element we have not deliberately named.
- We do not record or replay your session.
- We do not send the contents of the contact form to the analytics service. Your name, work email, organization and message are never transmitted to it; they go only to our own intake service, described in section 7. The single exception is the engagement you selected from the drop-down list, which is one of our published service names and identifies nobody.
- We do not build analytics profiles of visitors, and we do not link analytics data to a named person.
Cookies, and how to opt out
When analytics is enabled, PostHog stores an identifier in your browser, including a cookie, so that several page views by the same visitor are counted as one visit rather than several. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the analytics script is never loaded and no request is made to the analytics service at all. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, no events are recorded. You may also block the script with any content blocker. To ask what we hold or to have it removed, write to info@ariesnet.com.
7. The contact form
When you submit the contact form, the fields you filled in — your name, work email, organization, the engagement you selected and your message — are sent to and stored on infrastructure we operate on Cloudflare, and a notification containing those same fields is delivered to our team's internal messaging workspace so a human sees your enquiry promptly. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf as a hosting provider. We use what you send us to respond to your enquiry and for no other purpose.
Your IP address is used transiently to protect the form from abuse and is not stored with your message. Contact-form records are retained under the policy in section 4. To have your enquiry corrected or deleted, write to info@ariesnet.com.
